World Bank Internship Program (BIP) 2024:
The World Bank Internship Program (BIP) is a fully funded 4-week Paid Internship program. Approximately 150-200 interns are hired each year. The internship is open to people from all over the world. To be eligible, you must have an Undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program (pursuing a Master’s Degree or Ph.D.) with plans to return to school full-time.
The World Bank internship program covers the travel expenses and also provide stipends for interns. You do not need to provide or show proof of an English Language Test. Most intern positions are located in Washington, DC, with a few others in the World Bank country offices. also note that Interns are responsible for getting a G4 visa and will start in early May 2024.

World Bank Internship Program (BIP) Benefits:
- The World Bank pays an hourly salary to all selected interns.
- If applicable, a travel allowance of up to $3000 will be granted.
- Additionally, an allowance toward return airfare travel expenses up to USD 3,000 may be provided at the manager’s discretion.

It also includes corporate support functions such as accounting, communications, human resources management, information technology, treasury, and other corporate services.

Just like we stated earlier, for you to be eligible for the World Bank Internship Program 2024, you need the following;

- An Undergraduate degree or you should be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program either pursuing a Master’s Degree or Ph.D.
- Proficiency in English is necessary. It would be helpful to have knowledge of languages like French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese. Additional skills in computing would be beneficial also.
- The WB internship program is open to diverse professional and academic backgrounds.
