Liz Ngani, a brilliant young lady from Kenya in Africa, has been awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to study a master’s degree at the University of Sussex located in the United Kingdom.
Liz Ngani who bagged her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Moi University in Kenya. She has achieved the exceptional feat of winning a Chevening full scholarship to continue her studies.
Liz shared her achievement on LinkedIn celebrating her win. She stated that she will be joining the University of Sussex to study for her Master in Foundations of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health.

She said that she feels honored and humbled to be part of the few Africans who were recipients of the Chevening Scholarship noting that there were 70,930 applicants from 160 countries and only 2% were chosen.

Liz stated that she has always had a passion for creating access and promoting mental health in her community. She said the master’s scholarship is an opportunity for her to be well-equipped with the expertise and networks that are needed to keep improving mental health in Africa.
She expressed her gratitude to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Chevening Awards, and the University of Sussex for giving her the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom.
